Sonia Vázquez-Sánchez is a neuroscientist from Madrid, Spain. After studying biology in Madrid and completing her Neuroscience PhD in Amsterdam, she moved to San Diego for postdoctoral research. Her work combines cutting-edge spatial transcriptomics with molecular neuroscience to understand why certain brain cells are more vulnerable in neurodegenerative diseases like HD.
